So much coming up!!

So many trips so little time...

This Saturday Jess, my Mom, and I will be traveling to DC to take in the sights at our nations capitol. We plan on seeing the monuments and the newly redone American National History Museum. I've been to DC once every year for the last 3 years so it's not something that is overly exciting - been there, done that, but it'll be nice to get away with the girls and see some sights and eat some good food...

But the big news....

Photobucket

On the 29th of April Danny and I will be jetting off to Dublin Ireland for about 5 days to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.

Yeah... Originally we were suppose to go to Montreal but Danny just wasn't getting excited and when I found the tickets for the right price it just started to fall into place. (and they were $220 per person for those of you wondering)

So yeah. We'll have some time to take in some castles, have a pint or two, and just enjoy each others company while we take in just one more country, one more city on the list. My 11th country!!

Ireland! Yay!

Vermont: Day 4

Sunday had come a little to quickly for all of us, and to make matters even worse, a big snow storm was coming and was going to hit Vermont that very morning. So we all got up early, got packed and headed south.

Photobucket

We drove back through the Birkshires...

Photobucket

Photobucket

And enjoyed the scenery...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Oh yeah, and we stopped in Florida along the way...

Photobucket

It wasn't really warm.

Photobucket

And Chris had to make a pee stop behind the car - so much for finding a bathroom!

Photobucket

When we got far enough away from Vermont and we thought we'd be safe from the snow we made a stop for breakfast and then went to the Yankee Candle Outlet.

Photobucket

The boys made some friends...

Photobucket

And Chris was in heaven - all those candles!

Photobucket

There was a creepy man there too...

Photobucket

Soon we were laden down with packages and stuff. At that point it had began to snow in Mass as well, so we were off seeking somewhere with a little less snow.

Photobucket

And it was back to a very rainy Jersey.

Vermont: Day 3

We had a lot planned to do our 3rd day in Vermont but we had to figure out a new way to do it... After driving on that hideous Route 9 to go snow tubing we decided to take a better road up north to Waterbury so we could get to Ben and Jerry's for snowshoeing on time. (yes, you read that right)

Photobucket

SO off we went on Route 7 North, looking for adventure and places to shop.

Photobucket

We didn't see any, but we did see lots of Vermonters. (or Vermontese?) The ride up north took FOREVER since we got stuck behind a truck. Jessica pulled out all of her colorful language - that God we eventually found places to stop.

Photobucket

We made a stop at the Otter Creek Brewing Co somewhere near Middlebury, Chris wasn't to thrilled.

Photobucket

But Danny was since it's one of his favorite types of beer. But then again any type of beer is Danny's favorite type of beer.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We continued north till we got to Shelburne and made a stop at the original Vermont Teddy Bear Factory - they gave you some great places for photo ops.

Photobucket

They had some cool bears inside....

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

And one that just beg to be loved....

Photobucket

Photobucket

And touched inappropriately....

Photobucket

We didn't take the tour, but Jess got a teddy bear for Lexi.

We got to Waterbury and made a small stop at the Cabot Factory Outlet, but that wasn't as important as the next place....

Photobucket

Ben and Jerry's.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We looked around the visitor center there...

Photobucket

And made a snowman friend outside.

Photobucket

And then it was time... to SNOW SHOE!

Photobucket

Danny was especially excited.

Photobucket

So we snapped on our snow shoes

Photobucket

Listened to the instructions...

Photobucket

And off we went

Photobucket

Danny seemed to enjoy it...

Photobucket

So did I...

Photobucket

Chris did too!

Photobucket

And Jessica - she took to it like a fish to water!

Photobucket

Photobucket

We were done with the walk through the wood and taken to a field to make some fresh tracks.

Photobucket

We all enjoyed this.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We all ran around...

Photobucket

And generally looked like dorks

Photobucket

But we were happy dorks.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Then it was time for the tour!

Photobucket

We couldn't take many pictures, since ice cream must be top secret.

Photobucket

afterward we got to eat lots of it.

Photobucket

And enjoy every lick.

Photobucket

It was a good day.
