Mexico - here we come!

It's official. Danny and I just purchased tickets today to fly to Cancun, Mexico to visit his Aunt who lives down there during the winter. What's the best part? We leave in almost two weeks!!!

I have to say the travel bug has been gnawing extra hard on me lately and since the airfare went up so high to get to Atlanta in March, it looks like this will be our winter trip someplace warm before we go to Vermont in February for some snow tubing.

Anyway, I do know that Cancun is really nothing more then a glorified version of the Jersey Shore... (I mean come on, it's sand and liquor.)



...but the best thing is we are getting to go to Chitzen Itza while were there. I always wanted to see some Mayan ruins and I'm so excited I'm going to get to. The airfare was actually really reasonable, we paid only $500 for the two of us, and sank $150 of Christmas cash towards it, so it wouldn't hurt as bad. We'll be crashing with Aunt Mary while were there and hopefully be there to cheer her up since a string of bad luck has left her feeling down and out.

Just had to share since I'm SOOOO excited, can't wait to go. I'll try to finish up my Salem jaunt on this before I leave so this way it won't confuse any of us :-)
